Novice competitors may not compete in JO format in the same event on Saturday; however, a diver MAY dive 3M novice while diving 1M JO. Boards will open up to any JO/Sr diver after the last novice diver completes their dive. Divers will dive in the following order: Oldest to youngest, Girls then Boys.
Notes about Saturday's competition:
First event begins at 7:30a SHARP; all subsequent events will be preceded with a 30-minute CLOSED warm-up for next event competitors ONLY, with the exception of the BEST RIP contest, which will begin once we have everyone's entry. Please note that these meets tend to run pretty fast, and we will not wait to begin the next event.
Notes about BEST RIP CONTEST:
Divers will attach their $5 to a blank dive sheet (provided at the registration table) with their name and team name written at the top. Athletes will perform a forward entry (001d, 101, 103, 105, 107, 401, 403, 405, 407, whatever, as long as it spins forward and is headfirst entry), and a backward entry (002d, 201, 203, 205, 207, 301, 303, 305, 307, whatever, as long as it spins backward and is headfirst entry). Divers will be scored on the entry ONLY, with the following criteria (Rip? Clean? Tight position? Vertical? Square?). DD of the dive performed isn't considered, and all entries will be assigned a DD of 1.0.
With 5 judges and two entries, the highest score possible is 100.
