Rocky Mountain Diving Association Championships 2006 is the 2nd annual event held on one of the first weekends of the Summer season.  The meet requires a diver registration fee of $25 for the first event, and $10 for each additional event.  Coaches will theoretically bring a stack of signed and verified dive sheets, per FINA Rules posted at http://aaudiving.org. Check (payable to Sagebrush Diving) should be paid in one check for all divers from each club (preferably from the coach) at the end of the meet.  All competitors and coaches must be 2006 registered members in good standing of AAU.  Note to coaches, please feel free to post this page as a hyperlink on your website, if you have one.  It is the diver's responsibility to understand the rules governing their age group, via a quick visit to http://aaudiving.org.  

Dive Sheets will be due at the following times per age group:

Masters/OPEN Men and Women:  7:00a for Event 1, 10:00a for Event 5

Groups C/D/E (all 13 & under athletes):  7:30a

Groups A/B (all 14 & over athletes):  10:00a 

Event 2:  Boys' 9&U(E), 11&U(D), and 13&U(C) 3-meter, Girls' 9&U(E), 11&U(D), and 13&U(C) 1-meter

Event 3:  Girls' 9&U(E), 11&U(D), and 13&U(C) 3-meter, Boys' 9&U(E), 11&U(D), and 13&U(C) 1-meter

Event 4:  Qtrfinals OPEN Women's 1M, Men's 3M (#1 vs. #4, #2 vs. #3)

                Final OPEN Women's 1M, Men's 3M (winners of the Qtrfinals go head to head)*

Event 5:  Prelims OPEN & Masters Men's 1M (6 opts), OPEN & Masters Women's 3M (5 opts)

Event 6:  Boys' 15&U(B), 18&U(A) 3-meter, Girls' 15&U(B), 18&U(A) 1-meter

Event 7:  Girls' 15&U(B), 18&U(A) 3-meter, Boys' 15&U(B), 18&U(A) 1-meter

Event 8:  Qtrfinals OPEN Men's 1M, Women's 3M (#1 vs. #4, #2 vs. #3)

* Highest score will determine the 3rd place finisher from the quarterfinals in the OPEN events.  OPEN competitors must represent all 5 dive groups in their list of optionals.  NO DD requirement; however, coaches please use discretion, as this is intended to be a high quality competition.

The age groups on each level will be combined random order via EZMeet Randomizer.  Dive Order will be posted before each event with dive numbers.  It is the diver's responsibility to check the order, understand the dive numbers, and to know FINA rules governing their event.  1M and 3M events will be run simultaneously, with the exception of the OPEN events, which will be run via Cup Format. TEAM scoring will be kept based on Summer Nationals scoring (top 12 junior finishers score 15-12-11-10-9-8-7-6-4-3-2-1, OPEN divers will score via Sr. National scoring 24-20-19-18-17-16-15-14-13-12-11-10-4-3-2-1, while Novice/Masters divers score half of the junior, ie. 7.5-6-5.5-etc..  Novice divers will be allowed to do any list of dives or skills without repeating a dive/skill, and all DD's automatically 1.0 (ie. 001d, 002d, 100a/b/c, and 200a/b/c included).  No dive numbers may be repeated.  Novice D/E divers will compete 4-dives.  Novice A/B/C/Masters divers will compete 6-dives.
