Sagebrush Developmental is the DIVE SAFE lessons program, designed to allow beginning and intermediate divers to learn the sport of diving in the company of others with similar skill levels. Divers will progress at their own pace through the levels of DIVE SAFE Bronze, Silver and Gold, and as they advance, they will achieve recognition certificates, and perhaps some day, be invited to join the Sagebrush Competitive team. Dryland Training is available to any developmental diver that trains 4 hours (two days) or more per week (FREE). Lessons Registration Form posted HERE.
Sagebrush Competitive Team is the diver that has met all the requirements of FINA Junior Diving for their respective age group on the low board (1-meter), and is willing to train on 3-meter as well. Competitive Team members train 2-3 days/wk, or 4-6 days/wk. Competitive divers must be willing to participate in local and Regional meets when announced. Dryland Training (FREE for active competitive team members)) is highly recommended for all the competitive divers, at least two of the three days. Lessons Registration Form posted HERE.
*USAFA (United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs) is sporadically available to Sagebrush divers. Days and Times of these training dates will be announced on the dry erase board behind the 1-meter boards at Meyers.
Please be sure to have child present at least 10 minutes beforehand for proper warm-up and stretching.
