Welcome to the Grand Re-Opening of Sagebrush Diving... we are working on getting a couple of training locations for you, so stay tuned.

The Sagebrush Diving team began modestly in 1998 with a small group of high school-aged athletes, has grown as large as a 70-diver club back in 2001, and we had to close our doors at George Meyers Pool in December of 2008 due to our head coach and owner landing a cumbersome Head Swimming and Diving coaching position at a local college.  The longer he was away, the harder it was for him, and the draw to return to club coaching of lessons and a strong junior development program was too much.  In late March of 2010, he proposed to that local college team that another Head Swimming and Diving Coach be named, and now he is back in the saddle again as a club coach at Sagebrush Diving.

This diving club and lessons program has grown to be one of the most competitive diving clubs in the USA Diving Region VI (Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Minnesota).  We have won our share of meets, and our divers have had their share of gold medals at the local and State-levels while qualifying to every national meet available in the United States (including USA Diving Junior and Senior National Championships, AAU Nationals, U.S.Open, American Cup, NCAA Championships at the Division I, II and III level, NAIA Nationals, and the ASA College Club Nationals).  However, not everyone can start as a national-level competitive diver.  Sagebrush Diving is happy to announce that we support ANYONE and EVERYONE willing to learn, train, compete, and especially, PLAY, in this sport we call springboard diving.  If you don't currently have a place to PLAY, Sagebrush Diving would be privileged to have you in one of our programs.  We have a small but dedicated team of competitive divers, and a talented group of beginning lessons coaches to help you get a fun and safe start.

If you are a beginning diver, or have a young person in your family who is interested in beginning this exciting sport, CLICK HERE to learn more about our beginning lessons program.  Our USAD Safety-Certified and DIVE SAFE Bronze, Silver, and Gold certified staff of coaches teach solid progressions.  Divers in this group have many different goals... some want to learn to dive safely, some want to be better high school divers, and some have their sights on something greater.  We support almost all levels in this group... with the exception of...

The competitive diver... if you are a more experienced diver and are looking to become more competitive at the State, Regional, Zone and National level, check out our Days and Times page for information about our practice schedule, and then, contact us for a tryout.  You simply cannot argue with the effectiveness of training with the best athletes and best coaches in the best facilities.  Our former competitive team divers continue to produce great results at all levels, and now, with the club starting fresh in the Spring of 2010 with a bunch of young, new faces, the future promises to see Sagebrush Diving at or near the top of our Region again.  It is an exciting time to be with us... we are so glad you chose Sagebrush Diving.

Keep Diving!
