Welcome to the 2008/09 Diving Season with COLD
Our team, formerly known as Sagebrush Diving, began modestly in 1998 with a small group of high school-aged athletes, has grown as large as a 70-diver club back in 2001, but we are comfortable at our current group of 20-40 divers (about 12 competitive team members, and 10-30 divers in the developmental group).
This diving club and lessons program has grown to be one of the most competitive diving clubs in Region VI (Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Minnesota). We have won our share of meets, and our divers have had their share of gold medals at the local and State-levels while qualifying to every national meet available in the United States (including USA Diving Junior and Senior National Championships, AAU Nationals, U.S.Open, American Cup, NCAA Championships at the Division I, II and III level, NAIA Nationals, and the ASA College Club Nationals). However, not everyone can start as a national-level competitive diver. COLD is happy to announce that we support ANYONE and EVERYONE willing to learn, train, compete, and especially, PLAY, in this sport
we call springboard diving. If you don't currently have a place to PLAY, COLD would be privileged to have you in one of our programs. We have a small but
dedicated team of competitive divers, and a talented group of beginning lessons coaches to help you get a fun and safe start.
If you are a beginning diver, or have a young person in your family who is interested in beginning this exciting sport, CLICK HERE to learn more about our beginning lessons program. Our USD Safety-Certified and DIVE SAFE Bronze, Silver, and Gold certified staff of coaches teach solid progressions. Divers in this group have many different goals... some want to learn to dive safely, some want to be better high school divers, and some have their sights on something greater. We support almost all levels in this group... with the exception of...
The competitive diver... if you are a more experienced diver and are looking to become more competitive at the State, Regional, Zone and National level, check out our Days and Times page for information about our practice schedule, and then, contact us for a tryout. You simply cannot argue with the effectiveness of training with the best athletes and best coaches in the best facilities. Our competitive team continues to produce greater results at all levels, and even after our exciting improvements through 2007, the New Year of 2008 promises to see Sagebrush Diving at or near the top of our Region.
Keep Diving!
