THE WEEK OF August 19, 2002

Updates:  Another inspiring week of diving... hard to keep up.  Let's see... Bryce Engstrom landed a 5235d on 3M, and landed a 203c on 5M (a 204c, too... actually it was more like a 204.5c... a back 2.25 tuck... ouch); Andrea Esa got rid of her wisdom teeth, and is still recovering; Phil Lahnert landed a TRUE 201c and a 402c; Cassidy Lynch landed a 201a (still working on the 201c), 301c (wow!), and is competing for the first time at 2FUN; Jerry Molsberry is beginning work on a 205c, and has his 203c down-pat (what does that mean, anyway?), and landed a 612d on 5M; Julia Northrop has her 303b on 3M and is pretty solid on ALL her dives, and has landed a couple 5323d's, two of which ended up being 5324d's... pretty cool; Abigail Poulter is on injured reserve (feetsies); Sami has a REAL 5223d now, and is playing with a 5323d, too; Leslie Simonton is on injured reserve (pink eye); Nick Siegler is in Seattle (I think); Peter Wethington has shot right into JO status with a new 201c, 301c, 402c, and is working on more; Shawn Neer, fresh from BMX Nationals, landed a 201c and 301c as well, and is close to JO!!!
