THE WEEK OF May 12, 2003

Updates:  Congrats to the divers that competed at their respective League Championship meets.  Jerry finished second to an excellent gymnast, but had a VERY respectable diving list (103b, 201b, 301b, 401b, 5231d, 105c, 203b, 303c, 403b, 5132d, and 5134d).  All "dives."  Pretty decent for a freshman!!!  Bryce ended up second in his league for the second straight year, but his list was quite transformed (105c, 203b, 305c, 403b, 405c, and 5134d).  Again, all "dives."  Then there was our first year diver, Cassidy Lynch, who dove with little competition to win his first league championship as a sophomore.  Will he go for it at State Championships (one dive isn't a dive... 404c)?  He's toying with a 305c to replace it.  Let's hope he can do it.  Also, Ben Raznick finished well behind some of the toughest competition in the State of Colorado, with Taylor Roberts and Karo Isajan (historically, two of the State's most prolific divers).  Ben finished 4th, and looks to improve at State.
